OK to Say: Responding to racism together.
OK to Say is a community-based protocol that provides support to those experiencing racism. The purpose of the protocol is to promote equity, compassion, and respect for all members of the Central Okanagan community and to defend actively the rights of all members through individual awareness, education and community support.
The project was developed by a group of diverse and representative community members. The Task Force, drawing from this group, tracks incidents in the community and reports regularly to the media on racism and discrimination. The participation of all community members is welcomed.
